Working in Cooperation with neighbors, farmers, and ranchers in seven states, to produce beef breeding stock.

About Kaehler Cattle Co.

Welcome to K-LER Cattle Company! Both Cliff and Seth were active in the youth beef projects: 4-H, FFA, and in several junior breed associations, most notibly, the American Jr Simmental Association where both boys served on the National Jr Simmental Board. There is nothing better for youth development than these programs. We highly encourage youth across the state and the US, to take full advantage of these opportunities..

Cliff graduated from Georgetown University, was a credit analyst at Credit Suisse in New York, and recently moved back to MN to start an Energy Management company - Novel Energy Solutions. Seth is a Senior at South Dakota State studying Animal Science. In the ten years that our two boys showed at the Minnesota State Fair 4H Show, they had Supreme Champion Heifer once, and Reserve Supreme heifer or Cow/Calf three times. Cliff had a breed champion or reserve 6 out of 8 years, and Seth has had a breed Champion or Reserve 6 out of 8 years. All of our cows we have shown as pairs were former show heifers. We feel this proves that GOOD SHOW HEIFERS DO MAKE GOOD COWS!

It is more important how the calves look and perform next year than it is how they look when you buy them. We are happy that our calves found so many good homes in the past years. We are proud that we have sold or produced a national champion each of the last eight years. We do not have the time, nor think it is in the best interest of the calf - or their new owners - to have them “maxxed out” as babies.
